Please keep us updated on your progress. My car arrived at Davisville July 7th and I am still waiting for information. No word yet.

My car was released from port 8/15 but still waiting for transport to the dealership as of today. Don't know what factors are involved in that. Does the dealership have any say in when they get a transport? The tracking info shows that the dealership has not been invoiced yet so I would guess that the port controls which cars gets on transport to whichever dealerships. I'm guessing that I will be taking delivery sometime next week.

What dealership are you working with genevagear? You should call the sales manager for info. Get a screenshot of the latest tracking screen from them. If sales manager isn't helpful, call the GM. I've been a little frustrated with my dealership also but eventually I get through. It would be better if they were more responsive though but what can I do now.

Congrats. Love the car. Do you know when your ship docked? Mine docked this morning and was wondering how long it is going to take to get here.

Thanks guys!

Subshooter - The ship docked on 8/2/17 but we had the CARB hold issue. I think Wassy got his TTS in about 2 days from when it docked at Jacksonville since they are a non-CARB state.

I think you should have it within 5 days. The port should be able to release the car in about 1 day and then it may wait for transport like in my case.

I picked mine up today from the dealer. Traded in a 991.1 GTS for a 991.2 GTS. Both 7MT. Fairly similar spec except this time I went for the CLs, Boudreaux/ black interior and the xenons instead of the LEDs. My initial impression is that the .2 feels a lot faster, especially down low, than the .1. The .2 sounds pretty good too, but not quite as raucous as the .1.

Thanks for the feedback. Looks like a lot of us are getting the black/Bordeaux interior. It looks fantastic.

Well, it's great that the CARB issue seems to have been dealt with and folks are getting their cars. Finally. Congratulations !

Talked with my dealer today ... said my car is on a vessel headed for Rhode Island. They want to close the deal before the end of August.
Not sure where the boat is, or when it will unload the car.

How long does it take a boat to make it from Germany to Rhode Island? Anyone know?

I'm anxious to get the car !!

Get the name of the boat from your SA and track it online yourself.
