I agree. I've had small cars before, such as Triumphs, and 2 car seats in a Mini Cooper, and consider myself quite flexible. But you're right, getting in and out of a 911 is not easy to do. Well, it's not that hard, but it's easy to kick and scrape items on the way in or out.

I would crawl on bare knees and knuckles and drag myself into the car to get a good drive in on a nice day or even a not so nice day. I'm 63 and and I figure it out.

Squats.
Once a week. 4 sets. 10 reps per set.
I used to do enough weight, that I could enjoy watching the bar bend & flex during my range of motion. Not such much now.
But I still do them weekly, with other stuff.

There is a proper technique. Then again, it all depends on how tall and how much someone weighs.. It can make things easier or harder.

Someone once made a thread about it. After that, there was one on how to close the door![Smilie](https://rennlist.com/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif)
Someone maybe can dig them up.

Then remind yourself never to speck LWBSs whenever they're available. They make regular 991 seats seem like a cakewalk.

If you have memory seats in your car, you should check to see if you have Comfort Entry. If you do be sure it is enabled under the settings accessible from the stalk controls (or thumbwheel in the newer cars with multifunction wheels). That will move the seat back and raise/retract the steering wheel to make it easier to get in and out. Remember that this setting may be enabled/disabled per key.

Getting in and out annoys me. A lot!
I'm pretty fit 40yr old but deal with it as it's just about the only aspect that I dislike about an otherwise wonderful performance machine.
Once I turn on the PSE and start the NA motors, all negative thoughts quickly fade away and the man and machine become one.

My initial comments are an initial observation. I'm sure I'll get use to it with time.

I believe the memory functions are standard with 14-way seats, along with the electric steering wheel adjustments, but with how Porsche does options I won't swear to it.
Here's a short video that tells you where to find it if you have it:

I think my 911 is the easiest of the current sports cars on the market to get in and out of haha. The huracan I'm in is twice as annoying...though it really makes you flexible after getting in and out over two years, so I figure it's like men's yoga without the tight pants.

Years ago i bought a seldom used and perfect NSX from a guy who could not get in and out of it. Notoriously low to the ground. Bad back, forget about it. Like riding on the ground.
