I knew someone who had sheepskin in their Countach, and it became problematic very quickly and quite uncomfortable because of the heat. I would advise against it unless you really like the look/feel. Just my 2 cents..

They look hateful, but protect your interior for the months that you just want to drive the car. My father had them on his Jag for 30 years (winter months only) and they really saved his interior. I did the same on my RR which I kept for 20 years (I need my head examined for keeping a RR for that long). I have a new Targa arriving July. I'll buy the best sheep skin covers I can for the off-season months. I know it isn't ideal, but with the high bolsters on the sport seats, I feel sheep skin covers in the rainy/snowy months is not a big sacrifice to keep the interior protected from heavy overcoats/buckles/buttons. It isn't going to impede the fun!

Just because your father did it doesn't make it right. How did he wash his car?

It's good for driving in the nude.

I find the sheep are generally not happy with this option. Makes driving around with them less pleasant.
