Thanks, keep us posted if the valve body replacement changes the feel.

Finally got the car back yesterday. Haven't driven much but it seems a little snappier. Maybe its just in my head but compared to how I think it used to shift with a slight delay when in manual, now it seems instant. Although it also seems to have a little more jerk now when shifting. Again, probably just in my head.

Good to hear, sport plus in manual is jerky.

Same thing for me this week. Dealer sent a download to Porsche and they say just replace the whole tranny. I don't know if the new one is a repaired PDK (since it's coming in from Canada and not Germany) but I guess I don't have any say in the matter at the end of the day.

No warning at all. Pull into my garage at 5:00pm Tuesday with everything great, start car at 1:00pm Wednesday and dash lights up like Christmas tree.

Same thing has happened to me this evening. #2 and #3 The car started skipping gears. It would go from first to third to fifth and to seventh but would not go into 2nd, 4th or 6th even if I tried to manually switch there. On the way home it wanted to stay in 7th even though I was only traveling maybe 40mph. Then a bit later seemed to be driving ok again. I'm a bit nervous about trying to drive the 35 miles to the dealer.

This will be my second trip to the dealer for a brand new my18 car that I've only had about 3 weeks. Went for the first time just a few days ago because one of the license plate screws would not tighten, and ended up falling out.

I towed mine, as the service advisor said "It's up to you, but you could do more damage" . Porsche Roadside Assistance made that pretty seamless.

OTOH I could have drive to the dealer I guess, as Porsche diagnosed my issue it as "internal damage" and they don't really "fix" PDKs. They swap them out and send the old one back for analysis. So I guess that means it doesn't matter of you drive it or not!

Can’t really blame the factory for a license plate screw falling out..

Took the car out for a drive this morning. Drives perfectly normal - though I was driving very conservatively, and did not try anything other than comfort mode. Engine fault message is still there but the transmission error did not come up today. Have an appt for Tuesday.

Just got mine back. Thank the CPO Gods.

According to the service advisor, this PDK thing would have cost me $22k out of pocket. I also had them fix the gas tank strap squeak that probably wasn't a big contributor to his number.

I believe somewhat in "self-insuring", but this makes you think that maybe no sane person would tolerate being without a little backup if there was a way to do it reasonably

man reading this thread just scares the crap out of me...2013 18K miles, no warranty.
Engine Fault light just came on this morning, car drives fine but Im afraid of the tranny light coming on.

I just happen to have an appt tomorrow for a prior campaign for some tank.

Ill bring this situation up to them.

Changeover valves can cause this issue?

you guys dont think porsche will cover this PDK issue out of goodwill since this seems to be ongoing issue, maybe not widespread, but definitely an issue
