Default First experience with 991.2 GTS

Just got the .2 GTS. I previously owned a .1 GTS. The new car is certainly much faster. In Sport mode there is no lag at all. in Sport plus with PDCC the car is flat and totally unfazed through the corners. I look forward to taking it to the track in a week or so. It is unfortunate that in the US we cannot order the car with carbon bucket seats and rear seat delete. Otherwise I would think long and hard if I should order a GT3.

Great to hear a .2 vs .1 comparison between GTS models. Please post more observations.

PS - Great plate.

I realize the Turbo will have a different voice to the exhaust note.
How does it compare with your .1 GTS's sound?
Better, worse, louder, quieter or just different?

Do you notice a difference in throttle response? I know that lag has been mostly banished but does it allow you to meter out power as accurately as your old NA motor?

I am not a fan of sport exhausts in general. They hide the sound of the engine. As far as exhaust note goes it is ok on .2 with sport exhaust. The engine sound is of course nowhere near as nice as NA. Hence extra farts and burbles from the sport exhaust.

As for throttle response, I withhold my answer until I put the car on the track. In highway environment it is very hard to measure.

Stunning car, congrats!
If you ever switch out the exhaust or tips, I'll take those black ones off your hands! Would love those on my .2S

Very nice .2 GTS! I'm sure it will perform very well on track.

I can't wait to get my .1 back on track this season.
