Very nice. That's a PASM car, not a SPASM car, correct?
Anyway, it’s firm but compliant. I specced PDCC because I’m used to roll suppression on my daily driver and have grown to really like it.
Having gone into London & back today from the Shires, I’m surprised at how much of the time in traffic it runs with no boost at all and there is a reasonable amount of power there. Have flirted with the throttle and it’s a real feel of latent energy just waiting to be released. A few more miles on the engine and I shall see what it’s really got...

You know what? I got very confused by the whole thing. The promotional blurb, the configurator and the dealer all had slightly different things to say about the suspension. AFAIK, the coupé is a bit lower than the Cab & Targa but it appears you can spec yet another level of lowered-ness with PDCC & SPASM but there is uncertainty about whether it’s an extra 10mm, 20mm or none at all. I defer to Porsche detail obsessives to get this one right.

Got mine yesterday.
Going to need a bit of running in of engine and tyres but feels great and rides very smoothly, given the size of the wheels and the lowered suspension. Went over a speed bump by mistake that I didn’t see but no nasty noises. Took a few pics before the rain came:

Can I ask, did you used to own a silver M3 with Laguna blue interior?

Hi Ed,

A 2wd coupe comes with -20mm SPASM without ticking any boxes. If you do PDCC, you have to check the box that has PDCC with SPASM. to get the -20mm. I THINK it's the same for the 4 models, and the convertibles and targas are higher from the factory, so its a different ball game.
I went with PDCC because it’s meant to improve handling and ride at the same time, although in reality I like my toys and am a serial box-ticker when it comes to options: PASM, PDCC, PDK, PAS, PSE, PDLS+ oooh, sounds good even though I’m not sure what all of them do...

Ed911.2,
Beautiful car, love the color combo, enjoy it.
One thing is going to be driving you crazy, though. The tires on these cars are THE most efficient at picking up rocks. You sir just hit the mother load. Put some PPF on those hips and rockers soon.

Perfect, I applied PPF with a Gtechniq overlay on mine as well. Provides very good protection in so many ways.

The whole -10mm and -20mm business is obsolete with the 991.2 because PASM is standard. Therefore, while the base car is -10mm compared with the base 991.1, that should now be the baseline, since you can't get a 991.2 with a higher ride height.
In other words, on a 991.2 SPASM is -10, not -20mm.

I think because it's still "un-selectable" for lack of a better term, they still like to keep the "standard" ride height at the 0, PASM as the -10 mm compared to standard (even if it's included in the build if left alone) and SPASM as the -20mm from standard or highest ride height to avoid confusion. However you're right in that case for sure.

edit: I thought you were referring to the Carrera Coupe versus the GTS. My mistake. Got confused and thought I was in the C4S Powerkit thread...

All personal preference. I have driven both and prefer the SPASM w/PDCC car over the SPASM only car. Aside from the flat cornering, the car rides softer in a straight line than a SPASM only car. All personal preference though.
