Here's a 2014 with 6,700 miles w/ an asking price of $127K.
And this is a 2015 w/ 7,100 miles for $129.9K. Link.
Prices have come down quite a bit.

Do a search on Autotrader for 15/16 GT3s and you'll get 88 cars. And only one below $138k, the one you cherry picked, which obviously has some issues or it wouldn't be such an outlier. And the only thing you'll find at the low end of the rest are higher mileage cars. A clean 15/16 with no history issues and low miles is still in the high $140s+.

No they haven't. You're cherry picking two cars, one of which is a '14 and the other is at least a two owner car already, probably with other issues.

If I were you, I would concentrate on gearing. You can easily pick up a half a second in the quarter mile and make the trip there much more engaging.
You live in America. Who the hell is going to top out speeds in the 190mph range? A final drive ratio change would cost you much less than 30k. Only problem is finding someone to do it. Too bad because a gear change would transform your car into a weapon. Add a power kit and a tune with higher revs and you should be happer than a pig in ****.

To OP: I like your plan...until I saw the "rear seat delete." Then you mind as well get a GT3. Although it would need to be a 991.2 GT3 with the 6 spd manual. It's apples to oranges for the 991.1 GT3 since that's PDK only, and you could argue you like the involvement of the manual. And the 991.2 GT3 is definitely NOT going to be in the 120-130k range.
I'm in a similar situation with a '14 911 50th (basically a GTS with different paint). Actually put my name down for a 991.2 GT3 but now I'm leaning to keep the 50th. I want the back seats for my kids to ride along, and I want the manual. Not looking for an all-out track day car. Any 991 is more than enough car for the street.
I would recommend DSC, better tires, elephant racing ball joints, and TPC sway bars. Also coilover conversion, but that would push the car more track than street. This would bring you pretty close to GT3, minus the engine, of course

I agree with others here ... don't waste your time/money on mods, just get the GT3. I think once you drive one, you'll be pleasantly surprised and perhaps swayed away from this project.

Op I understand what your trying to do. I also have a 2013 4s and Recently added a giac tune , Bmc filters and the IPD. Will the car ever be a gt3 no. But it makes me estremly happy.

IMO, modding older Porsches can make lots of sense; big mods to nearly-current-gen cars is a romantic pasttime best entered into with eyes wide open -- which it sounds like our friend Titleistadict is doing. Hey, if it keeps him off the golf course it can't be a bad idea.
Let's not forget the gentleman who built a complete GT3 exterior onto his GTS last year, for what must have been an extraordinary cost; he loved the GT3 aero-look, but wanted a backseat and a manual, iirc, maybe AWD. Anyway, he fitted all the GT3 panels and wings, rerouted the exhaust, and it was a very big job. If he were to sell that car now it would probably bring a couple grand more than a regular GTS, maybe 5k to just the right buyer. But it's what he wanted, so good for him.

991.1 GT3 prices will continue to depreciate like anything else, especially with a 991.2 which will still be naturally aspirated, more HP, more reliable engine, and manual option.
There will be guys selling .1's for .2's and even RS's which are getting cheaper too (the over MSRP $$ continues to fall).

There is zero chance to get a low mileage, zero issue GT3 right now in the $120s.

An experiment in putting just about the best performing transmission ever put in a road car, that critics and owners alike raved about, and which is still likely to be selected overwhelmingly by buyers of the .2 GT3 - that failed attempt? Please, spare us the MT nonsense in this thread.
