I do not want to risk back-pressure issues and I am not open to tuning for the first few years so that may complicate the issue and push me to PSE for the time being.

Maybe Fab or another user can point me in the right direction. Is it wise for us to purchase the PSE and pursue aftermarket utilizing the valve option in the cabin? Personally, I would like to just avoid purchasing the PSE and replicate that straight pipe sound at all times. While some may find it obnoxious, I am coming from a 6.2 V8 with open headers, Borla exhaust, and a cam swap... so this will be tame for me. If I can avoid dipping nearly 3k, I actually prefer the way the C2S quads look and would love to drop straight pipes from there.

The debate will happen here on RL when people chime in about resale and illusions of having a perfect factory specimen in 300 years for a pristine paperweight/collectable.

The clip you provided (from Thailand?) was just about perfect. I understand there may be other factors involved to a particular build. I don't need the earth-shattering sound from my previous 6.2L V8, but again that clip was on-point. My concern is I don't want to spend 3k on a Porsche Sports Exhaust that honestly doesn't provide much more volume than stock from my experience both in person and listening to online vids/reviews. I am wondering if I am better off getting the PSE to take better advantage of one of your systems for example.. or if I could achieve similar sound profiles and volume without needing a valve switch. It will be a weekend warrior so it can run open all the time....not to mention I don't care for the exhaust and diffuser setup of the PSE.
I will consider tuning after the factory warranty, but not interested in risking that until the 4 years has passed.
If you have an S then the valve system is mostly there... i bought an aftermarket setup and only had to add the button + Programming @ ~200 bucks. If you KNOW you want aftermarket then this is a more economical approach by over 2K.

No it doesn't
No they don't
A WRX STI has a flat four (EJ207 or EJ257), unequal length headers and a single turbo.
A 991.2 has a flat six with two turbo chargers.
The unique sound of the STI is due to the cylinder firing order and unequal length headers.
The 991.2 has the same firing order as the 991.1 and is a little quieter than the 991.1 due to the presence of the turbos.
Personally, I like the sound of the 991.2, it sounds fine in real life and in the cabin - particularly when you're on the gas.

You probably should chat to people that own them - or have driven them extensively. Perhaps even stop and think
(a) flat six engine
(b) same firing order as any other flat six
(c) only meaningful difference - two small turbos
(d) revs to 7500 as opposed to 7700
(e)..............this can only mean its slightly quieter, which is what it is
(f) its also less boomy

I haven't ordered yet, but looking at a build to order 991.2 C2S or C2.

All depends on your dealer. Most are quite open to modifications, we actual have many that are authorized distributors of our products and sell/install our products.
I see you're in NC, which is great because in the US you are actually protected by the Magnusson Moss Act. You can put aftermarket components on your car, and if there is a component failure that aftermarket piece has to have a conclusive correlation to the failure of the component to void the warranty coverage. For example, lets say you have our exhaust system and you have a water pump leak or your radio stops working. Completely unrelated, and they have to maintain your warranty. We are all lucky in that Porsche is much more lenient about upgrades than any other manufacturer we've ever worked with. Some dealerships even have their own aftermarket Motorsports division haha.
I'll shoot you a PM, we can chat more in detail about it
Very educated response
