So true. Truth is, while the constant bickering gets old, the complaints being thrown back and forth are actually very accurate. The .1 is markedly slower and doesn't handle as well as the .2, and the .2 sounds much worse and, to many, looks worse than the .1. Whether one gives a rats *** or not is another thing entirely, but those are the truth.

Archimedes, its simply a case of the objective (measurable performance) vs the subjective (looks and sound).

The objective measures are well and truly clear for all to see - the subjective is more a case of "one mans pleasure is another mans pain" thus its not a case of true or false but more a case of whether you prefer apples or oranges (with regard to the subjective issues).

But can't one argue about the importance of the objective performance measures? I mean, especially in certain states in the US where speed limits are low and speeding penalties are extremely harsh, it can be difficult to argue that a 0-60 time of 4.5 seconds needs any improvement to begin with.

I agree with you about the looks to some extent, but not about the sound. But to each his own. I do find it funny that folks on both sides of the aisle are trying to argue against the obvious.
