Glass Sunroof/Solid Sunroof
I know opinions vary, but what do you think will look best; C4 Coupe with solid tilt/slide sunroof or glass sunroof? The car colour is white.
The dealer tells me they sell almost all cars with glass roofs, but i'm concerned about the contrast of black glass to white A pillar.
This is the last detail I need to nail down before my order locks!
Thoughts?

Actually, I quite like the contrast of the dark
Roof on the light car. But that's my personal taste. It certainly doesn't look weird or ruin the looks or anything like that.
Get what YOU want. Not me, not anyone else here, and certainly not your dealer.

I chose the glass sunroof based on the SA's recommendation, my wife's preference and for the contrast (I was thinking no sunroof and then wrapping the roof in gloss black). All of the accents on the car are black as well. After tinting the windows it completed my 'Black & Blue' theme.

Such a personal choice. I have had both on 991S's (currently have glass on a black 991S). For white, my personal preference on a white car would be the steel sunroof over the contrast but you should go with what you like best. Some people love the contrasting black/white look.

I'm in the glass camp here too - the contrast looks great on white, love that look.

Thanks Needs, the dealer is not trying to sway me one way or the other - just said the majority of cars they sell have glass. Also, in terms of resale between GT Silver and White, they would pick white every day. That is my first choice as well.

I'm in the other camp. I chose a solid sunroof because I like the continuous painted roof line which carries the swooping lines of the car without interruption. No regrets at all! I have a rhodium silver car. If I had a black car I might have considered glass. But really, you can't go wrong!

I had both (on two different 991S's), the steel opens exactly the same distance as the glass. The difference is that with the glass closed, it lets a lot of light into the cabin with the sunscreen open.

That's surprising. I don't find that white shows the lines as well as the silvers do. I'm sure the difference between the two on resale is negligible ;]
