Congrats! I never use mine and probably won't do sunroofs anymore. If you really want that experience go cab, I did and love it.

Looks like 911.2 GTS is running the Nurburgring in 7:26 and with optional stickier tires 7:22 (only 2s slower than GT3 RS)..

Should be driving it last couple of days of April.

Still undecided about glass roof or not. Currently have one, never use it, but like the look of it. It squeaks a little.
Sounds a bit ambitious.

I like the look on some cars too. Could be done easily with a wrap, and the car would weigh less!

Nice to see the PZero Corsa's back in N-spec too - just in time for the Michelin P4S

I knew this car would be tough to beat with all of that low end torque.

faster than a 997 4.0 RS, faster than the 991 GT3 (when its on the Corsa's and only 1 sec slower on the regular rubber)

HELLO!

that 991.2 GT3 had better have a 4.0 ... even then its questionable that it will better the GTS (on Corsa's)

Hello!
First post for me. I have been reading this forum for some years now, great information. Thank you all for sharing. I am interested in this new GTS and have some questions.
The new 991.2 GTS comes standard with PASM Sport chassis but have an option to have the suspension 10mm higher like regular PASM. Does this removes the stiffer sway bars? From the height dimensions on the website, these GTS cars are lower than the "equivalent" S models with the same suspension, maybe they tunned the PASM differently?
In these GTS new front bumper there are no active air vanes, what have they done so it doesn´t need them?

Best regards.

Just remember, those GTS Ring times come from Porsche, and Porsche times are never replicated in the real world. The cars are always slower in actual, publicly verified lap times. I'm sure the car is fast, but I'd wait for some real world times before comparing it against other real world times.

Porsche use a works driver to set times e.g. Timo Kluck or similar. In other words the times are real, allbeit set by a professional racing driver. All manufacturers do this.

The slower times, often reported by Sport Auto, are set by a journalist driver such as Chris Gebhardt or Horst V Sauma, Make no mistake these guys are good drivers but not in the same class as professional/works/team drivers - hence the times are slower.

A good example, the 918 Spyder driven by Marc Lieb was 16 seconds quicker "round the ring" than the same car driven by Horst V Sauma

The reality is the 3L twin turbo engines are fantastic and now allow the improved 991.2 chassis and suspension to really shine.

The difference between a GT3/GT3RS and 991.2S/GTS will be down to the driver

One only needs to imagine what a chipped GTS can do. Recently watched a video of a lightly modified BMW M2 posting the same lap times. 7:22. Mods are so easy with turbo motors. Sad part is that there will be no differentiation between vendors since all are using a 3 liter now.
