Bluetooth is driving me crazy
Hi there guys,
A thousand miles later, I'm loving my 2C. Easy to live with on a daily basis, the seat is extremely comfortable, the engine noise.... you guys know all that. No need to repeat it.
But the bluetooth is driving me crazy.
On several occasions only the phone call part connected. The music streaming was off. I tried everything and nothing worked.
Then, the next morning, everything works well, only to fail again 2 days later.
I can't find a pattern. I have no idea what is causing this.
Do I need to have the PCM software updated? Any suggestion would be extremely appreciated.
Thank you.

Interesting you mention this as I also at times have to manually turn on the "Media audio" from my phone. The "Call audio" always connects. What type of phone do you have? I just think its my Samsung S5.
Im curious to see if iPhone users experience the same.
BTW - I have a 15 C2.

Very annoying glitch that I've learned to deal with as well. If you press and hold the sound and info buttons for several seconds, the PCM will restart and you can go back into your phone Bluetooth settings and connect to the PCM. This will reset it and work for several months. You'll have to do it again eventually.

Samsung S7 here. Works on my Audi and Toyota perfectly. Zero issues. On the 2013 C2 is where I'm having issues. This has to be a software problem.
I wonder if Porsche has an update available.

My Cayenne occasionally will do this as well. It will sit there as if it's on a call, blanking everything out, but nothing.
I usually end up removing the phone from the device list and re-pairing it to repair it (see what I did there?)

I had the same issues on my 2013 C2S. BT Audio worked 50% of the time.
With my 2016 GTS, I've had 99% reliability. The only thing I've noticed is that my BT Audio does not automatically connect as of late (after adding a Huawei Watch and Bose BT headphones to my phone BT list). After disconnecting and reconnecting again, it seems to work just fine.

Even when it works, it's a piece of s|-|it. It takes about a minute to initialize and by about 15sec, the RADIO auto switch back to FM, and you need to manually switch to AUX-BT. I gave up on BT audio and used a BT receiver plugged into the AUX jack.

I have the same frustration regarding the delay. Which BT receiver are you using? How do you deal with phone calls? Do you pair it with both the car for phone and the aux BT for music? Thanks.
