At the end of the day, dealers want to sell cars. They don't make money by letting them sit there at over inflated prices. Most dealers aren't the super high volume ones you always hear about. The other 80% have to work at selling cars and are willing to wheel and deal.

For current owners, try and trade one back in. See how high the price is there The dealer story will be a different narrative there.
If you are willing to take one off the lot there is quite a lot of room in them....normal dealer tatics. This was my sixth car from same dealer, got same result....told them what I would pay...took 20 minutes for them to realize I was right

Mine has the 4 way sport seats which are surprisingly comfortable.

Only had 700 miles on it when I drove it home. So I feel like I did pretty well on this particular deal and the car was almost exactly what I would have ordered had I spec'd it.

Two wins...great on the 20 off but way more significant to me is the trade in on your 14. How many miles did you have on it?

Bought it 6 mo ago with 2500 miles and put 7000 miles on in 6 months then traded it. So total was about 9500.

Default 991.2

STG -- thanks for some great threads. I was following the 991 HFS thread for ~ 5 months looking for the right match. Kept coming up short. Started reading more about the 991.2.
Coming from an '08 Audi A4 I figured I wouldn't miss out on the reported shortcomings: turbos vs NA and tamer exhaust note. Greater torque at low RPM and more usable power for DD seemed like a good trade-off.
I found a 2017 C2 manual cab, PSE, Bose, entry and drive with 1,700 miles. Essentially new.
Kevin at Beachwood Porsche was great.
I put 19in snow wheels/tires on prior to delivery. Saving the 20 Carerra S wheels for April.
This car is so much better than the base 991 that I have test-driven. I love this car!!

Happy Inauguration Day!!!

2017 C4 in North Carolina
$20k off MSRP or 16.4% (if I did the math right).

Default very nice, now enjoy it

Here is the way I calculate percentage reductions
MSRP minus Purchase Price
Delta divided by MSRP = % reduction
or
$118,000 - $98,000 = $20,000

$20,000 / $118,000 = 16.94%

Nice car and with SC & Sport Seats Plus... and more especially since it's a 7-spd manual and those are kinda scarce.

I'm sure there are others, but this is the first advertised deal on a brand new 991.2 I've seen. Nice options too, if you like a PDK Agate Gray/Black C2S Cabriolet...
I'd call Gene McClure there if interested. I bought a Macan Turbo from him up there in Atlanta, back in Oct 2015, and he was great to work with. He was formerly a service tech there, so he knows Porsches.
