Default Different TPMS from 991.1 to 991.2?

i did try to see if there's other threads on this.

I just mounted a set of two year old OEM wheels with snow tires I bought used. I'm in a 991.2 C4S and purchased from an owner of a 2015 C4S. All is great with wheels, but was surprised the sensors wouldn't sync.

Any my thoughts or insights?

Yup. I have the same issue. I called Tire Rack and they confirmed the .2s have a different tpms.

I was quoted $200 a piece at dealer. How much with TR or is there another option?

I am so thankful for this thread. I was about to pull the trigger on a used winter tire set. Now I am back to the original idea of buying rims, tpms, and tires.

I bought a winter tire set from Suncoast Porsche. They occasionally have sales.

I bought 991.1 HUF/Beru sensors for $71 each (including shipping) on Tire Rack. Use the chat feature and the TR rep will send you a link for your specific vehicle.

I think SunCoast wanted $98/sensor when I was looking.

The TPMS sensors in the snow tires/wheels from my base 991.1 would not sync on my new 991.2S. I purchased a new set of 4 TPMS sensors from the Tire Rack for approximately $230 and was able to get them installed in the old wheels and synced.

The aftermarket TPMS from tirerack is 433MHz which should be compatible... so did they automatically sync up immediately or is there a specific re-learn procedure to go through first?
