Saving weight!

I apologize for contributing to the humor, frankly I think the Op already got some really good suggestions:
Lex offered near zero cost alternatives,
Gbree offered some real track savvy weight savings gains, and
R_rated reigned the reality of just what you can expect.
After all, the car weighs ~3300 pounds and 100 pounds is a 3% change. Getting your turn in correct so you can track out fast will make MUCH more of a difference than 100 pounds ever would - talking lap times here.

On a Carrera S, our cars are about 8.25 pounds per horse power. So if you can reduce the car by 165 pounds that's like picking up 20 hp. Easy to do with the things I mentioned. And free.

Let's see: washer fluid is probably a pint but let's say it's a quart. That's 2 pounds. Gas is 6# a gallon (lighter than water) so 3/4 tank of it is what, 12 gallons? 72 pounds. So you must have the hardcover version of the owners manual for it to weigh 26 pounds.

Hahaha, I'd like to hit the track but need to convince the wife to let me go. Backstory is one of my close friends almost died in a track accident 10 years ago so it's a sensitive subject. Broader perspective is I'd like to lighten the car in hopes of making it a little more responsive. I can't believe that the S engine is the same as the GT4 engine given how revvy and happy the GT4 is to go fast and rev. I feel the S needs a little more revviness to it if that makes sense and with a 300 lb weight difference between the two cars, it's substantial so a little less weight should be good all around.
