Saving weight!
Okay, other than the obvious of me losing weight (hey, 6' and 170lbs isn't too bad), are there any low-hanging fruit places to save some pounds on our cars without breaking the bank?

I reduced 100 pounds by:
1) draining the washer fluid
2) only run with a 1/4 tank fuel
3) remove owner's manual
Free.
I also fill my tires with helium.

Depending on the type of car you are looking at or own, I would suggest looking at performance rims. Lighter rims mean the ability to put down more torque and better braking. Think about the effort it takes to get one of those rims spinning. The lighter the rim, the less the effort. Same is true for braking. The second on my list would be the exhaust. It is pretty reasonable to think that with a good exhaust depending on the material that it is made from, you would be able to shed some pounds.

Burning Brakes
Remove everything in the frunk including air compressor, flat fix, extra oil, tire changing tools, and battery cover and the other little side covers in there also the carpeting if it is easily removable (I never checked)
Remove everything from all interior compartments
Remove floor matts
Now - how committed are you?
Remove rear seats and passenger seat
Remove carpeting
Remove interior door panels
Remove sun visors
All free

Unless you're drag racing, isn't removing a bunch of stuff from the front just going to make the rear weight bias worse?
I would guess that putting in titanium exhausts would be the best option from that perspective.
