New Owner (CPO 991.1)
Hi everybody,
Just purchased a CPO 2014 Porsche 911 Carrera (Base) with 19,500 miles. Car is in perfect condition almost like it was never driven. I bought it from Gene McClure at Porsche Atlanta Perimeter and I couldn't be happier. The car has an excellent build sheet which I attached below. I'm coming from a 2010 Porsche 911 Carrera (also a base model). I've also had a 1987 Porsche 911 Cabriolet and a 2001 Porsche 911 Carrera. This 2014 is by far the most comfortable and the sport exhaust is intoxicating. The purchase process with Porsche Atlanta Perimeter was extremely easy. I highly recommend using Gene if anyone intends to purchase a car from afar or from this dealer. It is clear that Gene is an enthusiast and he was a Master Tech for Porsche for 5 years or so. He was extremely up front about the condition of the car which was perfect other than a handful of unnoticeable stone chips from normal use. I was provided with a copy of the CPO work order that confirmed that all 4 tires were replaced and that confirmed that the 20,000 mile service was complete. Gene also provided me with the computer readout which showed no over-revs whatsoever. I sold my '10 Carrera privately to another rennlister and traded in my 2011 S550 for the 2014 which I plan to use as my daily driver. While I wanted an "S," this car was by far the best value that I located with the options that I wanted. Can't wait to start racking up the miles....

I bought virtually the identical car from the same dealership a few weeks ago. Only major differences are color and mine has PDK. Here's mine

Thanks everyone! Base model is great. I even drove a 991 Carrera S before pulling the trigger on this one and have no regrets! I plan on driving the wheels off of it and taking it everywhere!
EMC2: I'll still be around the 997 forum! Your black 997.2 is a great inspiration!
Canefan: Small world. Looks like you have a great build and a unique color. Read your post about your car. It looks fantastic!
Jsalah: Can't believe I forgot to change the signature. Thanks for pointing it out!

Yeah I pulled the trigger on a similar car in March 2013 CPO 991 S in Agate. Traded my 2014 Cayman S for it. Great choice in colors and options. Enjoy!
