Congrats to the OP on a great car. I've always been a fan of the 911 model at the base/starting point. It's a phenomenal car. And 20% discount from list.......to me that's a no brainer. Enjoy!

Well I have the best of both worlds. I picked up a 2015 M3 last year w/DCT for my daily driver. At the time I had a 2014 Cayman S coupe w/6spd. Recently traded that one in for a 2013 CPO'd 991S Carrera w/PDK and am very happy. Yin and Yang with the two cars depending on my driving mood. Both are great cars...especially since I have the M3 tuned by ESS to around 500+hp and 480+torque...a pocket M5 basically.

I have been driving M Cars since 2009, my latest was the 2015 F82 M4. I was used to the power and torque so if I was going to jump to the other side the Carrera S was my starting point. Then I figured that by adding a Power Kit and options I was better off going with a GTS and I have never looked back. Coming from a turbo car to a 3.4 Base you might be disappointed on the power delivery and technology downgrade.
