Per the massive thread in the 991GT3/RS forum, the consensus seems to be yes.

It has the wide body so it's basically a GT3 with a manual transmission and no tail. So is this a mea culpa from porsche for not offering a manual tranny in the GT3?

Wide body, NA engine with tons more HP, nice designer interior and a 6 speed MT- what's not to like (or love)?
I am really digging the rims- would like to see if I can get for my Targa.

Hope the new 6sp replaces the current PDK based 7 sp in the 991.2
If so I will buy a 991.2 targa 4S or GTS if it comes out

You have enough parking spaces??

One of my brother has a black 991 targa and it looks pretty good.
