So when installing the Techart rear springs on what setting should the c-clip be on the spring perch?

I really like how even the drop on the grey car looks like, Truble10

That'd be the lowest perch setting which is what I'll be doing too

Yes, that is discussed few pages back. If I remember correctly, the deltas between the different brands are listed too. Which are you considering?

Agreeing with LargePuppy, earlier in this thread it is mentioned that - YES - the H&Rs will lower the car a bit more. "Too much," was my conclusion, hence we went with the Techarts. Given that TAG is only a few miles from our house, we had them do the work. Very happy with the results. If at all possible (I don't know how close you are to a trusted speed shop) I think it is best to let the installer also be the supplier. This way they are fully responsible for the deal. In the case of TAG, they requested (required?) that we take the car back after 10-14 days to check everything out. Also, while this work was underway, it was a good chance to reset the 4 wheel alignment to be a bit more "track friendly."

i installed H&R in my 991.1 no PASM and it was a disgusting ride I hated it , so uncomfortable and the rear “appeared” to look lower and that pissed me off too . I then switched to Tech Art and I was blown away by HOW MUCH BETTER it drove it was night and day comfort on real world daily use .

when I started to carve the canyons at upwards of 90mph is when I noticed that the spring rate on the tech art couldn’t handle an uneven road at high speeds , felt like they would bottom out . Since I didn’t drive like that often I didn’t take them out and was very very happy with how they looked and felt for as long as I kept the car .
H&R stiff, aggressive and uneven and can handle real abuse

TechArt forgiving and look perfect and can only handle mild abuse .

I believe he means the standard springs. That said, the adjustable kit is also rather firm.

I wouldn’t get either.

Techart are WAY overpriced for just a set of springs. Eibach is a much better option.

H&R are horrible to ride. I tried them in a friend’s car at the track and he agreed with my findings and had them removed the following week.

i settled on the no-compromise KW HAS kit. It’s incredibly planted and fully adjustable.

Now, I’m waiting for the DSC box to taylor the setting on the dampers.

How do get to the rear top hats on a cabriolet?

Do I have to remove all rear seats?

No, just some trims etc under the top. You essentially need to have the top partially open. partially closed to access it.

And I had all that opened a few days ago when I installed the SmartTop and didn't see it
