PPF life has a lot to do with how many hours one’s car is parked inside or out in the hot sunlight. My fun cars are always parked inside when not in use and even out driving here in our 100F hot Summers find shade when park. My son’s two cars sit in full sun all year round 12-14 hours a day at work and home and his PPF deteriorates within 5 years. I still have some on for 11 years and looks brand new.
Coming up on 3 years of spectacular ownership, I figured to ask for a little gift. From Santa, ofcourse.
I stumbled upon VR Performance, saw they had a deal on a prototype unit. Headers to tips...couldn't pass it up. They were awesome to work with. Follow up thread to dive in, later on.

Looks nice Post results, and your thoughts.
991.1 or 991.2?
Never planned to do this... specifically decided against doing this... posted negative things about other people doing this.... did it anyway. DB Carbon 991.2 RS side skirts:
I couldn't understand the link though - how can the same part work for the 991.1 Carrera and the 991.1 Carrera 4S? Aren't they two different bodies? I'm sure you could email DB Carbon and they would sort it out.

Thanks. I have emailed them about it but think they might have messed up as I believe the 4S is slightly wider (5 mm on each side?) than the 2S. I wonder if you could make them fit? Length wise they are the same.......hummmmm. We'll see what they say. Thanks for the heads up!
High end steamer was used to remove the film, no glue left over to deal with. Combination of pads and Menzerna Product to bring the clarity back. Looks like someone hit it with a rotary and wool pad prior to the PPF in 2019. Going to use Jescar Polylock + to coat it. I don't Ceramic my summer cars, id rather a nice sealant I can work with and care for.
