Ordered the latest version of the change-over valve for my heater. After 90,000km mine just stopped working.

Is this a common failure?

Just landed at home after a couple of weeks on the back roads; LePetit LeMans, DFW & back to NOLA. Unloaded, not packed, & went straight to “Batman” for a hand wash & clean up. Cannot imagine waking up to a road worn black car :-)

Got it back from paint correction, ppf and ceramic coating. Now it's in my garage and starting to get the exhaust put on.

I probably do more road time than the average driver here. Most of the miles are back roads with the Targa roof open, so at the end of the day there is the more than normal dust or crumbs. After a few days, it really begins to bother me. A few months ago I stumbled upon a small, chargeable vacuum in some publication. Looked like it would be perfect for the road, so ordered it & forgot about it.
So I returned from visiting Batman & headed out to the porch for a cold one, open the mail & wind down. A neighbor must have seen a UPS box & put it on the porch. It took a couple of months to get here, but worth the wait IMO. Perfect!

No brand name on the unit or the box!

Default SOUL Headers, Exhaust and PSE switch installed

SOUL Headers, Exhaust and PSE switch added to my 991.1 S Cab a few weeks ago.. I tried the black chrome exhaust tips, it was not a good look with my matt black rims so i put the stock tips back on. Going from a non PSE car to this set up is a pretty big jump..

Installed PSE switch in the OEM position

My wife’s Taycan finally arrived. The T is happy to have a fellow Porsche for a garagemate.

Put phone mounts in today. A-Tech one that clips above the center vents, and a Rennline ball that fits alongside the center console.

The A-Tech fits well, but it does not work well if you use a cheap plastic 17mm-AMPS mount. That passed through too much vibration. I switched to an all-metal one and it's perfect (though I need to get 4 matching screws to hold it).

I may use the lower mount more often as it leaves the phone down in bifocal viewing territory better.

I'll add links for the items later. The phone cradle there is a wireless charging iOttie 'auto sense'. It has a small button on the side that releases the phone, and then a sensor that automagically closes it when you put a phone on it. I'll likewise rig up some hard wiring for it later, but meanwhile I'm using the passenger footwell 12v socket.

And of course I used genuine the Porsche toolkit for the job.

Sometimes subtle changes make all the difference

added silver side script. (Rennlist marketplace - good quality. Go for it)

Amazing how our eyes play tricks, car almost looks anthracite in real life.
