The DB Carbon shift **** and boot arrived yesterday. I have to give Daniel props for the work they do. I had an issue in the past, but they corrected it and stand behind their work. This completes the interior. Well it did after I changed out the aluminum look spokes on the steering wheel with a mat black look. Now just waiting on tires to be mounted on new wheels and the weather to warm for the season so they can be mounted on the car.
installed the 200CEL Fabspeed Catted headers. The butt dyno def detects the increased torque in the 3500-5000 range. Also love the higher pitch wait at above 5500 RPM combined with my AWE exhaust it's LOUD. Zero droning issues and with the valves closed it's super quiet at cruising speeds.
100% recommend sport cats headers, especially if you can pick up a used set.
I am going to see how the ECU adapts to the headers and will probably get a tune to get a bit more power and smooth out the power delivery.
A new hood crest. I'm going to go all red, black and silver once the wheels are changed to the Fuchs style center locks I had refinished. Found two different hood crests, but this one seems to work the best. It's not quite as fine and as thin as the OEM crest, but unless someone can point me to an OEM crest that's silver with black and red, this one isn't that bad. It's thinner and more refined than the one below, which I did like but also knew wasn't going to be what I really like on the car. It just sits too high in the recess for the crest. It's also not quite as refined in its details. Can't wait to get the new PPF on the car.
