I recall both Arin and Tyler mentioning that the plenums add zero performance improvement when dyno testing the car with various different mods. I was on the fence about getting the TiAL plenum, but since APR is massively testing every single modification available, I have to rely on their word. With that said, they sure do look pretty compared to the OEM plastic part. Kind of like the difference between a Timex and a Rolex. One is technically better performing but the other is a hell of a lot more satisfying to own and use.

Except you can't see them without taking the back of the car apart, sadly. Also, they only tested 991.2 so that needs clarification. APR has made mistakes in the past that have cost people their engines even after all their testing so it's not like they are completely infallible...
Looking for something to improve the sound and acoustics of the car but not to introduce more drone. I have a Fabspeed X-Pipe for the 991.2 4S without PSE, should I get a Soul Cat Bypass or headers?

The amount of work we had to put into our non-PSE Rear Exhaust to dial down the drone was very intensive - we were able to design drone tubes which reduce the 2-3k drone. This system pairs well with our Sport Cat but deleting the catalytic converters would certainly add drone to any system.
Headers would give you more satisfaction in terms of tone and spool without inducing too much drone.
