Sold it. Best car I've ever had. 12 troublefree months of both winter and summer dailydriving. Love the look, love carbon buckets, love rws, love the PCCB. love the 3.0T engine. Replacing shure is going to be a headache.

Sounds like your ideal car. May one ask why you sold it?

Someone wanted it. Offer was decent. It replaced a 1987 Carrea 3.2 that I owned for two years. When I had the 3,2 I allso had 718 Cayman. The 991.2 S was a one car replacing two. Next; I might go down the GTS or Turbo route. There is allso a 911 GT itch to be scratched.

It is easy, if I can do it, anyone can. See this post:

Thanks Porsche_Nuts - I do have to take the center console apart correct? I found that on a YouTube link.

Cheers!

Not all of it. You need to remove the surround piece, remove the pdk ****, then pry off the pdk plate. Replace the pdk plate with the leather hood and install the hazard and lock button trim piece (you make have to put the hazard/lock trim in first, I don't remember). Replace the shift **** and the surround piece and you are in business. If I remember correctly, the post provides most if not all of the information you will need to do this mod. Good luck!
