Curious how are you going about getting it painted?
I just ordered GT3 mirrors and body shops are kind of wary of painting parts they didn't order. I have them in plastic from Suncoast, so if they are used to doing Porsche OEM collision repair, I figure this should be no big deal for them.

I have never had an issue with body shops painting stuff that I drop off, I just get the paint code and drop them off. Probably charge like 200-300 to paint them
Realized I had lost two of the little rubber grommet holder things that the fan module snaps into, above the engine bay, when I was doing my last oil change. So I ordered a bunch more. Suncoast carries them.
I aggressively drove mine through rocks and construction debris. I hit the rev limiter four times. I drove it hard through the mountains and had a lot of fun. WTF? it is just the fifth 911.
