I only did one side for now to see how I like the 'retro' look. Carrera side scripts reminiscent of the 1973 Carrera RS, the original ducktail Porsche.

Played around a little with Photoshop to see how it would all come together on retro Fuchs aftermarket wheels:

ibmiked--The Fuchs looks great with your car. Go for it. I like the script too.

Regarding the Fuchs - if you need new tires, or don't mind the cost; I'd put the Porsche 50th wheels on your car. About $7K and they'll look epic with the ducktail.

You don't have center locks and you do have the wide body. So they'll fit.

Hey Ibmiked-
Where did you get those silver GT3 wheels? Looks like a 5 lug GT3 exactly. I love them. Are they OEM?

Hi Alec,

I ordered them at the same time as the car. The dealer installed them before delivery. They are factory Cayman GT4 wheels, so the offset is perfect for my GTS with wider rear arches. It took some doing to get them as most Cayman GT4s have grey wheels not silver, so these came from Germany.

Cheers,
-Mike

Very nice! Have you considered painting the wheels to match the body and diamond cutting them?
