Had my rims painted platinum satin. I like it much better than silver with the graphite blue.

Great looking car and wheels. Platinum satin is a great wheel color - a nice compromise between black and silver. I've been trying to find some platinum/black center caps to replace my colored crests. Were yours painted or factory stock?

I bought my car the right to be on the road in Colorado. The "Specific Ownership Tax" is part of annual registration. It starts at 2.1% of purchase price, and declines slowly for the first 4 years, and then hangs on at 0.45% for another 5 years.

Thanks. I bought the Carrera T ones from Suncoast Porsche. I wanted the black and white crests. PM me if you need help finding them on their website.

Your car looks great. I plan on doing the same thing to my Cab. It currently has black wheels but I have always like the look of platinum satin. Is that the std. Porsche paint code?

I bought the center caps and asked the wheel guy used by me dealer to match it. I did not use a specific code.

That's a poorly disguised method of more than doubling the sales tax. Our ruling Oligarch aristocracy will continue with their private jets and limos, while they are bent on driving a higher % of the population into bicycles and electric Yugos for transportation. What is it about the Middle Class that they don't like?

That works out to what? 7.6% over 9 years? I would prefer that to GA 7% title and ad valorem in year 1. At least there are some savings for those of us that change cars every few years.

I hope no one takes this personally but this thread really seems to be getting off-topic. It was supposed to be a place where people could look at what items others bought and to spur the imagination so to say thus help make our cars personalized. Then again, it happens to a lot of threads but it still bug me.
