I just got mine from Suncoast too, for my 991.2 Cab which I drive top down and all windows down too.

Install was very easy, each side took me about 2mins

I received the replacement the next day. Excellent service. Had them installed in 20 mins. Seems okay now.

Sorry if this has already been answered but my head is spinning after reading so many of the earlier posts describing how difficult it is to install.

I have a 2017 991.2 S coupe with sport design side view mirrors. Given all the changes & updates, how difficult is this to install on both sides? Do I actually have to remove door panels? Has anyone posted a video to show clearly the install process? I’ve seen replies stating 2 minute and others saying 20 minutes. Would like to know realistically what’s involved and how long it will take before purchasing.

It's very easy on the 991.2, you don't take the door panel off. it took me 2 mins

It seems like it was the very early 991.1's that had the longer, door panel removal process from what I've been told by engineering. I don't have a good tally, so anyone else please continue to chime in.

991.1 is much hard but 991.2 is really simple (you only need to remove interior triangle trim to remove stock outer part). you can just look at the PDF manual and it's very straight forward. I'm not really a DIYer but it was simple enough to install within 20 mins for both.

I don't know if this was ever answered but I don't believe it would work with lane change assist. I don't have LCA and it works great.

I have a 2017 991.2 with lane change assist and the wind diffuser works. You have to be careful with the wires when removing the trim piece, but its really a simple install, took me about 5 mins per side.

Yes, it works. I have LCA and installation process is exactly same (simple and easy. You just have a wire hanging when you install).

Josh, have any refinements or improvements been made to the product since 2018~?

Mine have been on the car since then, and for 60,000 miles, and I'm happy overall with the still-OE-like appearance but wind-noise seems to have gone up a bit over time—maybe as a result of no way to attach their leading edge that faces the wind. Are there any tricks you might recommend to long-term users to ensure maximum effect? Thanks!
