I looked at this product and the other "stick on" product as well as the DIY ideas. I have a 2012, so I had the more extensive install with the hidden screw. I didn't want to fool with the door panels, but all the other solutions didn't look as good as this one, so I decide to go with this one.
I had all my tools ready. As a user had suggested, I had a helper (the wife) hold the door panel so I didn't completely remove it per the AWE instructions, I just pulled it away at the top enough to get to the screw. All in, it took about 30 minutes to do both sides.
Took my car to the track this past weekend, no booming at all, much much better.

my also has a gap when I installed them, is that normal or its faulty design or installation, anyone?

I did find that it was not sitting as nicely on the door frame as the original, somehow(and its difficult to explain) top part is close to the frame while bottom is opened a bit. my feel is that the part that goes around the window seal is limiting it from being nice and snug.
pictures might show the problem, although lighting is bad

I'm taking a shot in the dark without having images to look at, but if you're referring to a small gap under the arch at the base of the Foiler™, then that is indeed normal. If it is not on the underside, please send me some imagery via PM or email. My email is below.

Hi! It directs the air that would be channeled through the side mirror
and window which results in the dreaded wind buffeting that occurs on 718/991/981s when driving with only one window down.
@Jingber - We don't have the CF version anymore. We had discontinued them a while ago.
@ Gonzalo38 - You will experience a slight difference when having the top down but these were primarily designed to channel air away from the body for coupes and convertibles (when the roof is up).
