I think there is a borderline "drone-ish" sound around 60-70mph in 7th gear with valves open. Not there in 6th. I'll pay more attention in 7th gear at higher speeds but at that speed on the freeway I found myself closing the valves even with the original PSE. I like a quiet cabin when cruising on the freeway. That said, the AWE was not causing discomfort or annoying bassy drone that fatigued your brain, just more cabin noise than ideal for calls or listening to music on a longer drive. In short, drone is not a noticeable issue and the exhaust sounds phenomenal.

Loved it. PSE is wonderful, but the Cargraphic system brought the 3.8 to life and screamed at high RPMs. It also retrained the stock tone, which many systems tend to get rid of. I've listed it for sale in the Classifieds but I may still throw it onto my GTS.

Loved it. PSE is wonderful, but the Cargraphic system brought the 3.8 to life and screamed at high RPMs. It also retrained the stock tone, which many systems tend to get rid of. A word on tone.. The awe changed the car in that dept. It now has a deeper, thoatier idle through 4500, and goes "supercar" raspy race car above 5000ish. There is def more bass and you hear it if you drive next to a wall or in a tunnel, hence why it set off a couple alarms under acceleration. I just ordered some GoPro and iPhone mounts to make a full vid. I'll be at the Canepa PCA bbq this weekend if anyone wants to hear it.

Ok, seriously Stratocaster, can you be more helpful in whatever issue you are having w/ the AWE exhaust, rather than just putting "remove" on all of your old messages? You might as well spell out the issues, and/or what AWE plans to do to remedy it...
