They are good, no worries. They did well and I am very happy!

My business partner and I both have 991 GTS's. I installed the AWE switch path exhaust. There is no comparison. In sport mode mine is has true race car sound. Huge fan.

To me almost reminds me of an F 1 car. I like it can be so mild to wild.

Does this system just replace the center muffler and leave the side cans intact?

Yes. The side units are left alone. It's amazing it can get the sound it does without all of it being changed out. Honestly I have heard full systems and don't know how the do it.

Only grace is its still winter here and car just sits anyway while work is being done. Will this make winter go any faster?

Can I keep my stock black exhaust tips on my GTS if I install the AWE exhaust?

I am not sure on the exhaust pipe diameter. I know the black diamond tips flare out and fill the lower facia and look more aggressive.... But the system pipe I am not sure on the OD

Good question for Josh at AWE tuning. Josh Davis

So I just pulled my posts because I am not endorsing them at this time.

UPDATE! It is all worked out, no problems, thanks AWE
So now that everything is cool, can you let us know what the issues were and how they were fixed or is there a non disclosure clause?

It has been well established that there is an effect by which the number of mods installed between November and March makes the winter months seem exponentially longer. Sorry I don't have a peer-reviewed article to reference.

Out of respect, I am not beating a dead horse any more. AWE did good and thats all that matters. There is info in previous threads and its nothing to worry about..

I love my exhaust, and will not sell it and after comparing it to several others out there, even full systems, and systems that can cost near 3 times more. There is no comparison.

I know now why my local Porsche dealer told me it was the best thing they have ever heard (:

Yes, you can keep your stock GTS black exhaust tips. That's what I did - looks completely stock but sounds anything but when you press the button!
