Chris harris comments 991.2
I know there have been positive comments from other journalists about the new turbocharging, but in my opinion Harris is one of the best auto journalists out there. Given the fact that Harris is a real die hard Porsche enthusiast his initial thoughts don't come as a huge surprise. It probably doesn't help that he just spent the last 8 moths daily driving a new 911 GTS.
Interesting nonetheless, thought you guys would appreciate the comments.

I totally get what he is saying... in a vacuum the 991.2 is an excellent, well rounded car. No surprise there.
But in comparison with the 991.1 (and GTS specifically) it is missing the noise, excitement, and drama... which seems to align with many other reviews/comments directly comparing the two.

I think what he is saying is that as a sports car its great, but as a 911 its missing its old character(motor)..
Edit: Exactly what Vise said^

Somewhere between 12 min and 13 min he got a threatening contact from Porsche
I guess he thinks the overall car is good but the engine experience sucks.
Fair enough.

Goes on to say
It's a very very good car though. New steering wheel/ infotainment superb. Chassis spot-on. Looks great. I just miss that old motor.
