I must say this has been a great 2015 on Rennlist for me. Have learned a lot, have had some great discussions, and chatted with a lot of great Porsche fans here. I hope it continues to be a great place to hang out.
I was on 6Speed before joining here, and it was a great start. For some reason it started going a bit downhill and thought this was a better fit. I still check in there time to time, but there's really nothing that hasn't been covered in depth here.
This 991 board here is VERY active, and contributions are being made every few minutes which makes it fun to check in TOO often. We're lucky here, as most of the other boards on here and other forums aren't nearly as active.
Overall, a great bunch here. Of course the occasional hecklers, but they usually fade out. Only the true fans tend to stay true here.
We'll see how the next year goes, but being part of a group that has come to love the 991.1 has been a pleasure.
It's nice to see so many guys that support what is available to us here. A great resource and place to chat about the cars we love. As most of us know, those people aren't around in our day to day lives most of the time!
I encourage any "lurkers" on here to get involved. I wonder how many people actually read the crazy/fun/educational stuff here that never have posted?? By looking at the thread views, I'd say there's over 50% of guys checking in here that never post?? My guess!
I'm very grateful of the various friendships I've made through Rennlist. Cars are fun to talk about, but one you can easily spend TOO MUCH time doing. I need to cut back a bit!
