Big fellas - 18 way seats....
I'm 6'2", 210lbs. I'd say about the majority of that weight is my upper body. Broad chest and wide shoulders / back.
Anybody else built like this? When I look at the 18 way sport seats it sort of feels similar to when I look at a Ferragamo coat. While I think it looks cool, I know even before I try it on its going to be way too small on one dimension or another.
With the 18 ways.. I worry that my shoulders won't fit comfortably at all...

I am the opposite .... even with each pinched all the way , the upper and lower bolsters are still too loose !
I tried out a narrow deeply bolstered " rally " racing seat at Rennsport Reunion a few weeks ago and the sales guy said I was the only one he had seen who could fit all the way into it to rest fully against the lower seat back ....many guys and almost all the women couldn't get half their butts in , he claimed !
he correctly guessed my waist size ( 26.5" ) on my 6 ft frame and said I was built like a prof rally driver

Broad back and chest here. The 14-way seats feel like a single rail is supporting your spine and that you're balanced on it. Very uncomfortable.
The 18-ways work.
There are four seat choices but only two seat architectures: Sport Seats (default) / 14-way and Sport Seats Plus / 18-way.
Go try both at a dealer before you shell out.

I'm only 5'7" but have 36" waist and very broad chest and shoulders. Buying well fitting clothes is a pain! i don't fit comfortably in 18-ways so purchased 14-ways. Right choice for me. Echo earlier comments: try both at dealer and buy what fits for you.

6-3, 230. I've had the 18 ways in my last two 991s. I can't get my back to fit comfortably. I constantly adjust the seat position but I feel the side of the seats digging into my lats. I think the look of the 18 way seats outweigh the slight discomfort. Like other posts have said, try them on.

Don't some seat options impact rear seat leg room?
