For what is worth here are the ports my ship did after it left Europe.
1. Jacksonville, FL
2. San Juan, Puerto Rico
3. Cristobal, Panama
4. Lazaro Cardenas, Mexico
5. San Diego, CA
6. Long Beach, CA
7. Oxnard, CA
Then it headed West to the country of it's Flag. Japan.
It spent the most time at the Port in Jacksonville. As I remember it was in Jacksonville 3 nights. The other ports were single night stays.

The Marine Traffic site says that the first stop for that ship is Cristobal Panama.
If it is making deliveries to the West Cost and going north of Southern California that would hurry things up.

Don't know. I was too pissed at the time to ask my dealer because my initial V900 was for 5/6 and then I made a few minor changes on the build which pushed the dates out by 4 weeks.
Too scared to request any changes after that for fear of getting the car in December! Besides, my lock date was 4/1.
LCW - I'll confirm with them, I'm curious too!

"A CT vehicle is one with Exclusive options (the ones you have are listed below). To put these options on, they actually pull the car off the assembly line and do all of these by hand. While there is a slight delay for this, it isn’t very long, and it is certainly worth it.
· Seat Belts in Bordeaux Red Exclusive
· Steering Column Casing in Leather Exclusive
· Storage Compartment Lid with Porsche Crest Exclusive
· Porsche Crest on Headrests Exclusive "

thanks for passing that along about the CT vehicle.... I have heard this story before about certain "exclusive" options... although some aspects of this still remain a mystery. So take the seat belts in red as an example. I have been told by a salesman that the car goes through the assembly line with black seat belts and then, at some point, they remove those and install red ones... seems highly inefficient and a process that could potentially compromise build quality. As an engineer myself, I find it hard to believe that the correct part does not end up in the car in the first place...
... ah one of those mysteries that make this really fun...
thank you for sharing and for following up...

My car was on the Jasper Arrow, went to JAX and then Houston, then to Chicago. Don't need to pay anything as Marinetraffic allows you to watch your vessel skirt the Keys, avoiding Cuba and up the channel to Houston. -Richard

Thanks. Thats good advice. I tried the free trial last nigh on marine traffic...doesn't do much. Now that you mention your vessel "skirt the keys". The Metis Leader left port Emden yesterday and is going to Halifax which is way up the east coast....just maybe that vessel will skirt down the east coast. All speculation...i hope to hear from my sales rep today with the info on the actual vessel it is on.

FYI...the Metiz Leader ship just left Emden and is going to Halifax. My Carrera is not on that ship. I just remember seeing a few waiting for cars in Halifax. For those of us waiting for cars in central and western USA I think the Green Cove maybe our "golden ticket"!!!

Burning Brakes
Have heard nothing from my SA. He is off on Mon and Tuesday so should hear something on Wed. Frustrating waiting to know but really makes no difference in when I get the car.

Burning Brakes
Talked with my SA at the 911 intro event at Porsche Bellevue today. My car is on the Green Cove as I had hoped. Headed straight to San Diego. About a third of the way across the Atlantic.

Delivery!
Finally took delivery of my Lava Orange 991.2 C4S.
I've been lurking around these parts for a while so I figured it would be a good time to post. It's my first 911 and it definitely does not disappoint.
In terms of the exhaust, I have the sport exhaust which is obviously deeper than the stock. You definitely hear the turbo whistle in the exhaust (which I find really cool) but I wouldn't describe it as quiet. Perhaps thats because I drove home with the windows down :reckon:
That being said, having listened to a GT4 with an aftermarket exhaust I can understand why people might be looking for more. I would consider putting some aftermarket exhaust on the car after having the car stock for a bit.
Here are some pictures:
