Awesome build, love the black on black.
What HRE's did you go with? Also, what size? (I am going 21" P101's in brushed dark tint... only down size is limited availability of actual tires, seems Pirelli is only option on fronts)

I realize it's a polarizing look and it's not for everyone. But I love it, so who cares!
This was a photoshop that I did of what that combo should look like (minus center lock).
This was one HRE and I came up with.

Eager to see them on the car. Great to see someone swimming upstream a bit, seems everyone gravitates to the P101's (which includes me, but they look so damn sexy! Fortunately, while they seem common online I don't see many in the actual wild...)

Here's a bone to chew on while we all wait.
I was driving up north today, and the port of Davisville was practically on my way. I figured I'd make a quick stop, to do some "investigative reporting". There is a public road going across the various parking lots VW uses for -what it seemed like- all of their incoming import inventory. The main question I wanted to find an answer for was whether they are running out of space at the US port, and that's why they are stalling shipments from Emden, or something else. (My car is still held at Emden, will check tomorrow to see if made it onboard Goodwood.) The answer is: there is plenty of free space in the 911 lot. Everything else is chock full. VW's, Audis, and the new Panameras are packed tight! I don't think this port can handle another non-911 shipment before moving some of their inventory. (I imagine 911's make up a small fraction of each shipment.) Goodwood is inbound (9 days out) with a few thousand cars, so something's gotta give.
I did not drive all the way to the waterfront. There may be additional space there. Too many workers were staring at me taking pictures - I did not feel comfortable snooping around My camera has lots of zoom, but it's a compact so the quality is meh.
Anyways, enjoy these pictures guys, who knows maybe some of you will recognize your car?!

And the rest of the parking lots, with Panameras, Audis and VW's:

P101s look great. Can't go wrong. For performance and practicality concerns, I wanted to keep it 20 inches and I will not be dropping the car. Some wheels work better than others being close to OEM fitment. We set up the offset to take those parameters in account - a little more aggressive, but not too much. It was a cool process - very bespoke.

Thanks Gregv8 for the detective work!!! After reviewing all the pictures I'm pretty confident that my car can be seen in the last frame you posted. There are three black cabs in a row. One appears to be a 4, the other a 4S and the final one is a de-baged black cab with PSE. That is likely my car. Been sitting there now since the 6th of this February. Its going to be close to 70 here on Thursday!!! Would really love to have the car for some top down fun. Unfortunately I don't think that's going to happen

Fantastic work. . all to say how impatient we all our. Bad news for PCNA - especially all the Panamera's that were built as initial demos for the dealers to have. So. . my 911 C4S should be on the Goodwood. . and the Panamera Turbo is set for a March build. . . Hopefully they can get this resolved soon - has to be costing a fortune a day to have this inventory sit.
Thanks again Greg!

The one all the way on the right is mine!!!! Bittersweet seeing it on the forum. Going to call the GM at the dealership today and try to make sense of why all these 911 are just sitting in port. What ever the reason, I bet you its directly related to why they are not shipping cars out of EMDEN
Here, I did a crop and enhance from my original high-res photo, maybe you can make out more this way:

Think that these cars are all held up because of CARB testing/EPA. Apparently this has happened several times before with Macans, Cayenne Diesels. Plus VW does not have a great reputation with US Govt. . .ugh
