Grats--also interested in seat of the pants dyno and day-to-day liveability with the increased noise. You need to get the Vorsteiner diffuser next!
Funny you should say that on the diffuser. I have checked into them and did call Vorsteiner. They told me you have to shave a little off of it around the exhausts system if I run this exhaust.
You won't see it unless you get under the car. Another member on here said the same thing and he as well drilled a hole in the pan so he could change oil without removing it off the car. Vorsteiner told me you have to remove it otherwise to change the oil.
On the dyno stuff I have looked at the hp and torque curves. Seems it gives up some here but gains some there. I am not a good enough driver to notice I am sure. Maybe losing another 20 lbs would be my best power curve bet (:
Is this really worth it considering the GTS already has the PSE? How much better can it sound? I've been debating this & still can't convince myself to pull the trigger.
Thanks stratocaster69. I'll be shopping around in the Spring when the care comes out again. I've also heard pretty good reviews about AWE. Talked to a couple of Porsche techs here in Pittsburgh & they all speak highly about AWE.
You ordered a few days to early. I'm having my AWE switchpath removed this week most likely as I'm selling my car, and will be selling it. This exhaust sounds incredible. Turns the GTS into a supercar, but quiet as stock at the push of a button if desired.
How does the exhaust affect emissions? Will the car still pass smog inspections? I'll put myself first in line for that exhaust when you take it off. Pm sent
