Unfortunately, Nordschleif was closed, even thought the website said open. GP track was an option, but it was a bit wet to really have fun.

ok, so now that you have the CC, how does it compare to your speedster? I see you went crazy with the leather, did the speedster exclusive full leather spec inspire you?

The speedster is just a different animal. PDK; noisy because of the manual, uninsulated top; more raw and "toss able" but refined at the same time.

The CC is an animal. It feels completely stable, and that exhaust is just awesome. The 7MT when driving in the only mode allowed in my CC, sport plus, just puts a smile on my face at all times. The rev matching down shifting, the throttle blip and burble is music. Handling wise, it feels very planted.

Both though, are underpowered when compared to my 2009 Turbo Cab. But I do like the NA engine better. The build up of the NA engine vs. getting slammed back in your seat when the turbos kick in is a nicer feel.

With regards to my additional leather bits, the speedster had a small influence. I was really going for a cohesive design for the interior, replacing the plastics for their appropriate materials. Alcantara where appropriate, like on the seat belt outlets and sunvisors, and leather in their appropriate environments. Having a random plastic piece in the middle of alcantara or leather just seemed cheap to me.

I actually asked to dumb down the deviated stitching, but it wasn't an option. I original was only going to add leather seat backs, and maybe the air vents. I liked the stitched around the vents, which got rid of the silver surrounds. JD recommended both, plus 2 more options; seat belt outlets, and visors in alcantara. I then consulted with Melissa at PCNA, and she recommended the extended dash option. At that time, I thought the car was perfect.

The day that I received the call to lock the car, we had a PCA chapter meeting at my dealership. Our concours chair asked to see the build, and he made a couple of recommendations, which were on the back of my mind after playing with the configurator. Ultimately, I added the door sills, steering column, and fuse covers. The last leather bit added was the PCM.

Car was locked and no more changes allowed. I stressed over the amount of options that I added for a long time, but in the end, I absolutely love how it turned out. In person, it is quite stunning.

Thanks for your review. I recently sold my 50th, and picked up a pure blue speedster. PDK is definitely different but I now get it, it allows you to enjoy the drive without having to shift and allows our wives to be able to drive them. I am misssing the 50th, but my GT4 more than makes up for it. And the speedster is a very special, stunning 911 that is very limited. You are very lucky to have both a speedster and a 60th CC

Congrats!!! The speedster is such a great add to your collection. Are you enjoying it? My original plan was to garage it and drive it about 500-1000 miles per year. This first summer, I couldn't resist, I drove it about 1500 miles. Luckily, the club coupe will satisfy my Porsche driving urges.

How do you like the Boxster Spyder? Would you consider a 2016 Spyder? After seeing them at the factory, the thought is lingering in my head. They have such nice lines...

Thank you.

I have more but don't want to bore everyone.

These are from Motorworld in Stuttgart. I went there the night before I returned Mr. Blau to Zuffenhausen.

What color Eduardo?

Cool facility with cooler cars.

^^^ Interesting about the GT Silver 997 Speedster. I thought they were all either True Blue or White.

Lovely CC, and your Speedster in white with the spoiler up is sublime.
