Also, how do you make the software work on a mac?

Great job DSC!!
Thank you for your feedback. Very glad you guys are enjoying your DSC! We are happy to report that a few weeks ago we hit a milestone of completely selling out of 991/GT3/981/GT4 DSC modules with positive feedback from all users! We have them back in stock now. Thank you for all your support!

There are only two DSC modes(Normal and Sport). The two DSC modes are selected via the button that has the shock absorber symbol on it.

The Sport Plus button activates sportier engine mapping and for PDK it keeps the rpm higher and in lower gears. Since DSC is fully dynamic, some drivers can feel different dynamic damping commands to the shocks as a result of DSC's response to how the g-force/velocity data is affected by lower gear at higher engine rpm function of Sport Plus mode. Example, the g-force and suspension travel rate is higher accelerating in 2nd gear @ 6000rpm than in 3rd gear @ 4000rpm.

Another advantage of DSC. If you install X51 Power Kit, DSC will optimize the suspension control for the increased hp/torque.

Hi,

I'm interested in getting this product for my 991 GT3 but going through all 12 pages I have not heard anyone mention or have given feedback on this for the GT3.

Does it not work for the GT3 ? I just want to make sure. If so would it have as much difference as installing on a non GT car ?

Thanks

you should probably be searching on the 991 GT3 forum, but AFAIK the DSC is compatible with the 991 GT3 and should have similar improvements in handling if not more so especially for track applications

Oh this is super helpful. So on my car with PDCC, I'm selecting normal vs. sport modes on the DSC via the PDCC button on the dash. The sport and sport plus buttons simply control other engine/throttle characteristics but NOT the DSC directly.

In other related topics, what coilover system are people using with their DSC? I'm guessing stock PASM dampers are going to be most common but since the Tractive DDA setup is still being worked out for Non-GT3 cars, what other choices do we have?

1) Bilstein Damptronic
2) Any others???

On the 997 GT3 forum there are two active threads with the biggest one going to 17 pages.

I'd like to thank you for making me do this search for you. Just skimming the feedback on the other forums and the 991 GT3 forum in particular has pushed me over the top: DSC will be my Christmas present to myself.

worf928, good choice. just installed it on my 2013 991 Cab S and it sure seems to me that it has improved the around town handling quite a bit .... and running on sport for the suspension is much more comfortable but still firm...

wow - that's a surprise.

I would check with Tom & Mike at TPC but I am pretty certain that the 991 GT3 uses the same PASM controller as the Carreras and the 981 Boxster/Cayman so
the unit will be compatible.

The question then becomes is there a customized setup for the 991 GT3? - if there really are no threads on the 991 GT3 forum that would indicate to me
the answer is no, again Tom or Mike can discuss.

Doh I just read the 991 GT3 thread ... ignore the above...

For me, I have the DSC on both my 2019 GT3 and my 2015 GTS and on both
platforms the DSC's performance is noticeable on road and track.

AFIAK the only alternatives are OEM, Bilstein B16 damptronics, Tractive DDA.

Its rumored that JRZ are building a PASM compatible shock, and KW have such a system (DDC) but I have not seen a 911 part available.
