That said it still looks great, love the GT3 wheels in the platinum finish.
It is possible to increase the wheelbase w/ GT3 (or Elephant) Lower Control Arms, combined with adding camber (positive direction) at the strut towers.
Maybe you are not done modding yet..

Thanks. When I spec'd my build, I requested the GT3 wheels. Was told no, so I asked about the Turbo S polished wheels as I also prefer them to the standard black set. Exclusive quoted $7k or $8k (don't remember exactly) for the switch, so I decided to just buy the GT3s and relegate the GTS wheels to winter duty.

Talking World Release of our 20" RTF Track Spec-10 * CTP Edition * 991 GTS

Here we have a few iPhone pictures a member sent in with our RTF Track Spec-10 * CTP Edition * on his 991 GTS right after a quick home install.

All our wheels are custom made per order this member wanted 20x9.5 and 20x12 setup for his OEM 991 5-Lug GTS.

We gave him just want he wanted a perfect fitment wrapped in 255/35/20 and 325/30/20 Pilot Sport Cup 2.

OEM setup is
Front - 8.5 x 20 (23lbs 10oz) - 245/35 ZR 20
Rear - 11 x 20 (27lbs 12oz) - 305/30 ZR 20

RTF 991 GTS Setup
Front - 9.5 x 20 (23lbs 15oz) - 255/35/20
Rear - 12 x 20 (24lbs 10oz) -325/30/20

Our RTF Track Spec-10 * CTP Edition * is 1" wider in the rear and is 3lbs lighter. Now think about this designing a 19" or even our RTF Track Spec-5 which for the 997 Turbo chassis we've engineered our Spec-5 * CTP Edition down to 18lbs for a 19x9 & 20lbs in a 19x12.

If you have any questions please send us an email directly to Sales@RaceTechForged.com or a PM.

We are offering media discounts on a selected few cars.

This looks amazing. Is the offset perfect or require spacers? How about GT3 RS wheels on a GTS, too aggressive?

Good to know. I don't have CL, just looking at this thread to get a good idea on ideal fitment for aftermarket wheels. GT3 fitment looks perfect.

My 2 cents, I think the front offset on the stock GT3 wheels isn't aggressive enough on a C2S/C4S/GTS... from the pics above it looks very tucked into the front wheel well.

When I ordered my Forgelines I got them to do a custom front offset (different than the recommended GT3 offset) to push them out a bit further and it worked out great IMO. Just something to think about.

Would GT3 RS type fitment work better? It's about 5mm more aggressive. (going from 9" to 9.5")

S.h.e.i.s.e.r.!!!!!...... that looks hot!!

The front GT3 wheels are tucked in 4mm relative to the stock GTS wheels. It's noticeable if you notice these type of things. I do, but I love the look of the GT3 wheels and am happy with the trade off. Pushing the wheel out 10mm would be nice, so if you're ordering custom a 9.0J x 20 ET 45 sounds about right.

The rear wheels are perfect and flush - they sit 7.3mm closer to outer fender than the stock GTS wheels.

Regarding the GT3 RS wheels, the extra half inch width in the front might put you at risk of rubbing.

Vise - what are the offsets on your wheels?

If you're referring to running GT3 RS wheels I don't that would work, the RS is a 21" in the rear... plus those widths are probably a bit too much on a normal 991.

My sizes/offsets are 20x9 ET47 and 20x12 ET47, almost exactly what you've mentioned above as an optimal front fitment... rears are exact same as stock GT3 wheels which of course works very well. I'm also one to notice these things and found even my stock GTS wheels were tucked a bit for my tastes. I think my current setup is just about perfect as pictured, particularly after lowering the car and going with a slightly more aggressive alignment.

Yep. Thanks Vise. I will go with 20x9 ET45 and 20x12 ET45. It will only be 2mm more aggressive, should be damn perfect with my PASM suspension (GTS) and not using wider Cup2 tires as VISE did.
