Shame this thread came to an end

I subscribed to it to keep it as a reference. I picked up a used set of CL winters from a 991.1 GT3 which fit just fine on my 991.2 GTS (they look exactly the same as the winter set that Suncoast sells, however the sizes are very slightly different). I love the those GT3 wheels and would love to pick up a set of them for my summer tires, not that I don't also love the CL Turbo S wheels that came stock on the car. Porsche has such great OEM wheel choices, the issues are the limitations moving them from variant to variant...

I forgot to post photos last year on this thread, LOL.
20x9 ET45 and 20x12 ET45 is perfect on OEM Pirrelli or MPSS (MP4S)
GT3 wheels are 20x9 ET55 front and 20x12 ET47 rear. Which means the front is 10mm less than this and rear is 2mm less, too tucked in for GTS suspension geometry. Won't look flush and worst than stock.
My old GTS with 5-lugs, same apply for CL.

I wonder is any other have fitted GT3 wheels to a 991.1 GTS, the black car looks fantastic, very 911 R. Be interested to see what the price of any second hand UK wheels might be

I just wrote a long thread and it lost before I posted GRR........
A few data points with less explanations GT3 track 1551mmF, 1555mmR mounting faces 1661F 1649R
GTS 991.1 Track 1538mmF 1560R mounting faces 1640F 1656R
GT3 wheels will fit 3.5mm further out R and 10mm further in F than GT3 and..
7mm further out R and 4mm further in F than the standard GTS at the outer rim edge
The 9.5 et50 would be interesting at the front using the standard 245/35/20 set up

Another point the 5 stud options 8.5x20 et51 and 11x20 et52 will sit inset by 6mm at the front and 10mm at the back than the GTS CL wheels at the rim edge

Still thinking about this and looking at 911 R's and GT3's in pictures
Seems the GT3/R has front outer edge rims that sit 6.5mm further out at the front and 4mm further out at the back than the GTS. Fitting GT3 at the front suggests they will sit 10mm further in than the GT3 and 2,5mm further out at the back. Does this look right, I can see the rear of a GT3 filling the rears a little more in an actual shot. But the fronts don't look 10mm further inset so my eyes ?
Seems fitting GT3RS rims would move the outer rim to virtually the same position as below (+1mm +6mm over stock GTS) but I wonder if they will look too pushed at the front ?
All this is based on the GT3 quoted front track 1551mm and the GTS 1538mm. I would also like to know how the feel might be increasing the rear track by 1mm and reducing the front by 4mm. That's what makes the idea of running GT3RS wheels on the front attractive as they are 1mm greater offset just 6mm wider at the rim edge
Value any thoughts, they are quite expensive !

Another picture ! The rears should be 4mm further out on the R and 6.5mm at the front vs GTS with OEM CL's ?
