GT3 wheels on a GTS?

Bumping this with a question for the wheel experts. Looking at a set of summer wheels for my GTS (center lock) and have come across an interesting option but not sure if the rear wheel sizing will work. Appears from this thread that the wider GT3 rear wheel will work no problems on a GTS but wondering if the 20x12 option below will be pushing it too far out.
Aftermarket Wheel:
F: 20x9 +49 (Centerlock)
R: 20x11.5 +55 (Centerlock) or 20x12 +44 (Centerlock)
The 20x11.5 option appears to be Turbo offsets and it will be tucked into the wheel well which is not optimal either.
Any thoughts or advice would be appreciated!

Looks awesome! GT3 wheels are the best Porsche wheel IMHO.

love, love, love the GT3 wheel....and i agree too with one of the posters above, maybe one of the best wheels Porsche offers.
in the pics provided it looks to me like the front wheel is tucked in some, as in, not as far out to the edge as an oem wheel would appear. is it offset or just the angles/lighting of the photos?

Certainly one of the advantages of GT4 wheels and five-lugs in general is the ability to use a spacer to adjust the outward location of the wheel. With that being said, if you have center locks and can live with the less than optimal offset, GT3 wheels are the bees knees on a Carrera.
GREAT looking car, good luck with the sale.

When I ordered this car last August, I was going back and forth between a GT3 and the GTS. I love everything about the GT3 except for (1) no MT, (2) no backseat (I have 2 young kids), and (3) the rear wing. I ultimately went with the GTS, but was eyeing the GT3 rear lower bumper and front bumper as potential mods. When the R was confirmed, I was actually relieved that they limited it to just 991 units, so I couldn't even entertain the thought of trading up.
I've done a few things to the car so far (AWE switchpath, Rennline grills, GTS badging on the back, front wrap and Nanolex coating (which is amazing btw - different than opticoat in that it looks and feels much more like a wax, done by Phil at detailer's domain). It's looking pretty good at this point, so I might just stop here.
