Default One thing I don't like:

knew that would get your attention...
the wind buffeting when you have windows down...really, that couldn't have been engineered out? When someone is selling a little piece of metal that claims to fix it!

The little piece of carbon fiber solution is much nicer. Surprised Porsche didn't have a box to tick for this one. They rarely miss out on a chance to increase the profit margin.

Yes, the foil is effective with both mirror designs. AWE makes the carbon one.

+1 carbon fiber in place of black plastic in corner of side windows would have been a nice goodie. Manual shift extensions (on steering wheel) in carbon would have been a nice option too.

You may have noticed by now that not one person agrees with you that this is something they should never have allowed out the door.

Well, this is how they are able to allow it out the door.

Sadly I had to cancel my AWE order, they told me it would 2-3 months of back order.

I agreed with him, I just didn't bother to reply.

Until now.

Your fault, Chuck.

While that little piece of carbon fiber or aluminum may resolve the buffeting problem; what does it do to the overall aerodynamic number. Porsche did a lot of wind tunnel testing of the 991 design and I'm confident they were aware of the buffeting. But their goal of a slick aerodynamic profile for fuel economy may have overruled any solution to eliminate the buffeting.

While your point is well taken, I'd suggest the two are not mutually exclusive, and if they are, their decision is wrong.
