How Irritatingly Good Is The Porsche 991 GTS?
Reading articles like this is making the wait for my GTS Targa even harder! I want to be putting miles on the car now and can't wait for August to get here.

I didn't see it posted and given my obsession with this forum during my long wait I'm surprised I missed it

What he means is that Larry is the first commenter on the article itself, ergo he discovered it before any of us. You however, were the first person kind enough to provide a link to those of us who had not found it through whatever means Larry used.
Kudos, thanks.

Is it me, or does Chris Harris always seem to litter his reviews with little technical gems everyone else seems to miss? He was I think the only one to point out the GT3 having all the same steering parts as the other 911's, and now here he is commenting on the GTS:
"the combination of 10mm suspension drop over the C2S and the standard PASM suspension with geometry tweaks has released something from the steering. I don’t know how or why, but this is by some margin the sweetest electric rack I’ve used. It almost feels like a facelift 997 in that respect – almost."
So he apparently asked around and learned the GTS steering actually benefits not just from software but from "geometry tweaks" …. and so now is almost as good as a 997.
Thanks for the link!

Yes it's the same sport pasm and the same steering rack and the same electric guidance offered to the actuators. You draw the inevitable conclusion.

Imagine that, a journalist that actually contemplates the nuances that he observes and then goes out and tries to figure out the basis of his observations. Have we just become too accustomed to the dreck of "journalists" who are either lazy or simply not very good at what they do? Kudos to Chris Harris for actually caring about what he writes and realizing that his professional value is intrinsically linked to the quality of his observations.

I know that Chris Harris has his fans and his haters but I'm squarely in the fan category. I'm jealous as hell of what he gets to do for a living but I really enjoy his style, both in his writing and his videos. I love watching people that really love what they do when they do it so well.

Too funny, I read the article and didn't notice his comment. The cynicism of the internet has trained me to ignore comments which are usually filled with racist rants, trolls and people's sister making $10000 / week working from home
