Default Price advice please?

Hi guys,

Long time lurker on the forum, rarely post. But now, I'll need your advice/knowledge on a 2014 C2S that I think is the perfect car for me.

-2014 C2S
- 8500 miles
-Sapphire Blue Metallic
-Black Leather Interior
-PASM Sport Suspension
-Sport Exhaust System
-20" SportDesign Wheels
-LED Headlights w/Porsche Dynamic Light System Plus
-Sport Chrono Package
-Sunroof in Glass
-Model Designation on Doors in Silver
-Gear Shift Lever in Alcantara
-Brushed Aluminum Interior Package
-Power Sport Seats
-Premium Package Plus w/14 Way Power Seats
-BOSE Audio Package
-SportDesign Package
-SportDesign Steering Wheel in Alcantara
-Center Console Trim in Brushed Aluminum
-Ornamental Porsche Crest
-Original MSRP $127,810.00
-Non CPO, just factory warranty

The dealer is asking $104,900.

What do you think is a good or fair price that I should offer? I'm thinking $100k, but I'm afraid I'm leaving too much money on the table? Is $97k a good offer or am I being low balling?

Thank you so much for your advice/help!

With the miles I think 97 is about right and certainly to start. 100 I think you would be leaving money as dealers always seem to have 5K in price space to start with and then some...example being the listing for my RS7 I traded for my Carrera S...listed at 104 but they have 97.5 in it. I just paid 94K for mine with 2600 miles 2 weeks ago but my car has a few less options than the one you are looking at (the Sport Design additions).

Only $23k off sticker on that car is way too little IMO. If you look hard enough you could probably find a leftover new '14 with that much discount. I wouldn't be a penny over $95k on that car.

There is a gorgeous leftover Sapphire Blue 4S out here with a sticker over $140k being offered at $119k and would probably sell for around $115-6k. And that's a brand new 4S.

I have a C2S on order sticking out at just over $122k and I recognize that the minute I drive it off the lot, it'll be worth less than $100k.

I found another 2014 C2S, a little more msrp $131k, but new. The dealer is asking $125k. Is it fair to offering $100k or 25% off msrp? Even if it's a new 2014? It seems like there's quite a bit of room from the dealer asking price from what I read from here. No?

Thanks again for all the advices guys!

They won't discount 25 %. $111 would buy it. $105 would be unbelievable, but possible.

Offer $102 and have them CPO it at that price.

If they say no, go to $104 with CPO and dig in.

Definitely have the CPO done, if they won't do it, there is most likely a hidden reason. I learned the tough way on an old M3...

The past couple of pre-owned 911s I bought were for almost $10k below asking price.

If I were in the market for a used Pcar, I'd just read STG's thread everyday. He finds some great deals.
