I jumped into this thread a little late, so I apologize if this has already been answered - Can you use this ISO file to update the PCM of a 991.1 (2013)... sorry, I haven't been out to the garage to check my current version yet.
Is this a PCM 4 thread? If so, my bad.
That ISO is for PCM 3.1. Yes you can use it.
hi, thanks for your file! I burned it to a dvd but my pcm called it an “invalid update medium.” Any idea what I did wrong?
I have a 2014 911 with pcm 3.1.
I haven't actually tried to burn & use the ISO... I have the original around here somewhere.
But I think others have used it before. Maybe try to burn with a different program, or try a different brand of media.
Thank you for posting the ISO. Is this an international version which works for all Porsche 991.1 worldwide? I do have a german build and german screen-language.
Will it update my v4.63 as well? thank you!

Sorry for quoting myself. Just want to confirm, that the update went flawless and as desired. It updated my german PCM. Burned the ISO on a mac without any additional tools/apps with an external SuperDrive.

I burned the ISO again, with a better quality blank media (verbatim) and worked great, from V4.53 to V4.76 on 2014 CD
how much the process takes ?
is this compatible with Porsche cayenne ?
i am running version 4.30, is there any noticed improvements ?
if i understood well, this is only a software update, nothing related to the map, right ?
enabling the online services on the pcm is not free it seems, any idea how to bypass this ?
the pcm has lots of capabilities but unfortunately hidden, we need to put $$$$ on the table for each feature

Only your dealer can activate Online Services. Shouldn't be more than about $200. I had it done on my '14 911 and I like it. It adds google search as an option when trying to find a POI in the Navigation system. You can select either "Online" or "PCM" to search for something. It works through your iPhone plugged into the glovebox USB port in the 911. Also adds online weather for any location which is nice but it is not graphically displayed on the map. You can also get Sirius/XM weather and traffic and that adds traffic alerts/rerouting when on/near major cities/highways and graphical weather on your map display. By graphical display it will place symbols for rain, snow, clouds, sun, etc, but does NOT display radar weather which would be nice. Our Gen 2 '19 Macan S does this, but the radar weather display is deactivated if the car is moving. Dumb.
