Default New GTS

Well, like an idiot, I stopped by the dealership today with my 2015 C4S looking for rims.

They had a white GTS 7MT with Sport Design sitting in front of the showroom.

I sat in it. Took it for a long test drive.

I fell in-love instantly. Such a different feel than the C4S PDK. I felt so alive shifting!!!!

I walked into the GM office and traded in my 1 month C4S for the GTS. Very fair deal with the traded C4S with 1500 miles and EXCELLENT price on the GTS.

So happy to be in 7MT.

Here she is:

Interesting. Did you have to pay much of a premium to upgrade? How much of a,discount did you get on the gts?

Only one month with that poor C4S? I'm sure you're a kind of playboy in your love life, too. But a man's gotta have what the man's gotta have. Congratulations!

Actually, not a playboy at all.

1 divorce, 1 girlfriend!!!

I took a small hit on the C4S(less than $10k) and got a $13k discount on the $132,235 GTS

I flip cars a lot, but this just felt right.

Wow. That is amazing that you only lost 10K on a new C4S Congrats! Your GTS rocks.

Well, that is one way of avoiding those vexing long term maintenance issues. And the C4S keeps its factory wheels!

Killer car Jaws. That's what I've been dying to find. Missing a few accouterments I'd like, but damn near close. She's beautiful. Great decision.

Question for ya. I don't want to wait on a build so I'm settling on a rhodium silver GTS thats stickered at 132k. I've only been able to get near a 6% discount, not 10 as you mentioned. That's fantastic! This is my first 911 and second P car from this dealer (I'm trading in a 8 month Macan Turbo lease). Would you guys say these double digit discounts are witheld for guys who are SERIOUS repeat customers and aren't in strong sales areas (I'm in NY metro). I can't anyone to come close to 10%

Chuck911 its funny that you mentioned the C4S keeping the factory wheels. After looking aftermarket, a set of nice HRE installed would have been roughly $10k, so for the same money I just got a GTS.

I think that this is the first time that anyone has documented a 10% GTS discount in the US. I'm not doubting Jaws, but I'm guessing it has a lot to do with his comment about flipping cars frequently. 6% is probably in the high normal range. I know a few others that would kill to even get that.
