I always wanted a 911. I'm about to pull the trigger. A friend of mine just bought a 15 z06. I won't lie. It seems for 85 it's pretty loaded and gorgeous. I would have to get s used 991S for that price and def not with all the standard equipment. Please help. Lol

Id go z06. The car is a huge improvement over the previous gen in terms of quality, and the performance is bonkers. You'd have more fun in the vette.

If you have to think about it, get the Z06.
991s is great but its not keeping up with the competition.
I would get a Z06 except for not liking the new styling.

I'm not very familiar with the new z06. But I would guess the 991 would be better as a daily driver.

Test drive both cars. You will find that the 911 is more refined and better build quality

Man this is a tough one. If you buy the vette, then your friend is just gonna feel guilty later on when he realizes he may have influenced you into making the same horrible mistake he made. But, if you buy the 911 he'll be torqued when he figures out you knew the truth and just never told him. Because if you always wanted a 911 then surely you must have known, which means its only a matter of time before he figures out you knew, and then its like dude you totally let me screw myself and didn't say a word!?!

This is out of my league. Have you tried writing to Dear Andreas?

C7Z is an S killer in every way. If you don't need the back seats then C7Z all day. Just do your research.... if you're a HPDE guy read up on possible heat soak with the new S/C LT engine.

If you are a HP junkie, you have to get the vette. If you are into refinement and appreciate subtleties, get the 991.

911 Is more of a gentleman's sports car. Classier and doesn't carry the stigma of midlife crisis. If your intended use was strictly track than the vette works. On the street I would prefer being in a 911 any day.
