The price of the new ones keep going up and there is a point where people accept that the price gives you a lot for your money so they stop going down in value.
It is interesting that nice early 991's nicely optioned are still pricing in the mid to upper 70's.
My guess is that my nicely optioned manual 2015 C2S, $124.2k MSRP, with CPO warranty through 3/18/21 and 8500 miles, is worth maybe $10k more than that.
You would think there would be a wider price differential than that.
After been here for awhile, it seems it is mileage, conditioning and CPO that matters a lot. Also, the 997.2 low mileage cars are holding steady on the $60K plus price, even without CPO. So, anyone who is cross-shopping 997 and 991 may see the early 991 cars quite favorable.
If I remember correctly, the most amount of 991 cars were produced during the 2012.5 to 14? I think you are correct on what you think your car is worth bc above you, are the GTS cars
Nevada.
Ever since I found out that NV doesn't pay taxes on private party, I really can't justify buying used cars from the dealer unless it's the perfect spec
x2, Nevada resident here. Saved $9k in taxes buying private party between my 991 and E92 M3...
LOW mileage 2016 GTS with Manual, SPASM, Aerokit Cup, and NO sunroof. Rare find and priced $$ RIGHT.
Has the GTS Alcantara interior too. A perfect example of a 991.1 Last of the NA GTS's. Someone has great taste with this build. Just drop the power steering plus

Hey, keep your voice down, won’t you! (I love this thread, but for those bidding on something, all the sudden the pool of competition is opened!)
I’ve been in communication with them, and am very close to pushing the button. The only thing is that I didn’t want a wing. (I know, heathen). Just to remove wing and end up with Ducktail would be $2k or more. I can’t decide. I’d really like to find one without any fixed spoiler. Ugh. Should I, or shouldn’t I?

HFS made its mark listing cars. If you don't appreciate the Aerokit Cup wing or Duck I'd keep looking.
The HFS listing to >>> sealed deal track record is very good.
I haven't seen a GTS build like this for well over a year +++. Add only 2K miles and the $$$, it will be gone quick.
I don’t like either color car, the first has sunroof which I don’t care for. The second is a GTS but at $110k I could get a brand new 911T optioned exactly like I want. I understand it’s a GTS which makes it special but I’m not sure I’d ever get that color and three owners has me worried, the color is really out there.
I was was curious what the respective MSRP would have been on those two cars.
